Lakefront Acres maximum occupancy is 200.
We recommend a maximum of 160, which leaves room for dancing and comfortability.
We designed this space to be enjoyable regardless of group size.
10 – 160 or any guest count in-between should be comfortable within.

Each wedding couple has 12 hours onsite. You are welcome to purchase up to an additional 2 hours. We operate one event per day, so move in and enjoy!
Yes, you are encouraged to! The Venue is yours for 12+ hours. Get ready, get married, have a party, snap some fantastic pictures, dine amongst those you love and celebrate yourself and others!
Yes! We have private, comfortable getting-ready spaces for both sides of the wedding party.
Our bride’s suite (The Bird’s Nest) is light, spacious, and perfect for hair, makeup, and all those sweet pre-ceremony moments. The groom’s suite (The Den) offers a relaxed, private space to hang out and get ready before walking down the aisle. Both areas are included with your rental.
We also allow family members or guests to get dressed in our spacious guest restrooms, which are equipped with hooks and electrical plugs for convenience.
We have 8 total restrooms onsite, including:
- 4 gender-neutral guest restrooms
- 1 private restroom in the bride’s suite
- 1 private restroom in the groom’s suite
- 1 vendor restroom
- 1 upstairs restroom
We’ve designed our layout to comfortably accommodate guest counts up to our capacity without long lines
We believe in flexibility and giving you the freedom to create YOUR ideal event. We have an open vendor policy should you have vendors you know and trust. We do not require you to use the vendors from our list, but we strongly encourage you to do so due to their professionalism, commitment to the client and high standards. We do require a certificate of liability insurance from all vendors that will be on site during your day. Our preferred vendors have already supplied us with all their requirements.
Yes! We have an open vendor policy.
You are welcome to bring in the licensed vendors of your choice. All outside vendors must provide proper liability insurance and meet our venue requirements. We’re also happy to share our preferred vendor list if you’d like recommendations.

Pets are welcome with a signed pet waiver, clear communication, and adherence to our guidelines. Restrictions apply for safety and comfort of all guests, and pets must always be supervised.
For the convenience and safety of all guests, our bartending service and security is required. You can supply your own alcohol or hire our bartending services to supply this for you. Pricing is contingent on hours and guest count.
We want you to make the space your own, but we do have guidelines to protect the venue and keep everyone safe.
Items such as open flames, nails, staples, glitter, confetti, or anything that causes permanent damage are not permitted. All décor must be freestanding or approved in advance. We’re always happy to review your ideas and help you find creative alternatives if needed!
In most cases it is a simple transition of moving inside. Lakefront Acres is spacious and beautiful enough to have wonderful ceremonies and receptions indoor. Logistically, there is more work for the everyone to attend to but you should feel little impact. The only instance that weather would cause additional concern is in the event of severe weather conditions. These are dealt with on a case by case basis. But, as they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck!
Yes, the purchase of Day of Event Liability Insurance with a minimum liability coverage of one million dollars ($200 – $300) is required. You must include host liquor liability should you be providing alcohol. It is strongly recommended (NOT required) to include a cancellation policy to ensure your vendor investments are protected in the event that you need to cancel or postpone your wedding.

Times range from 11am-3pm on weekdays (Monday – Thursday) and 11am-3pm on weekends (Friday & Saturday) depending on availability.
We only schedule tours during the week unless a weekend is available.
For special circumstances, we will try and work with you outside our normal operating hours.
To reserve your date, we generally require a 50% non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract.
The remaining balance is divided into scheduled payments leading up to your event date, and we are happy to customize a payment plan to suit your needs. All payments for wedding dates are due 90 days before the event. Full payment schedules and options are outlined in your proposal so everything is clear and transparent from the beginning.
We accept cash, checks, Zelle, credit cards (with a processing fee), and ACH transfers (with a processing fee).
Your signed contract and retainer officially reserve your date, which means we remove it from availability for other couples. Because of this, retainers are non-refundable.
If a reschedule is needed, we will always do our best to accommodate a new available date within a specified timeframe, depending on availability and contract terms. We understand life happens, and we approach these situations with professionalism and care.
No, we do not offer overnight accommodations, and vehicles may not be left onsite overnight.
However, there are wonderful hotel options in Corsicana and plenty of lake-area vacation rentals nearby for guests who want to turn the celebration into a full weekend experience.
